Application and Data Integration for GxP Applications Webinar

The webinar, led by Acumen's George Brunner and Kneat's Sal Paparone, provided a comprehensive overview of data integration and digital validation in GxP-regulated industries. It began with an introduction to GxP regulations and their critical role in ensuring data integrity, compliance, and quality.  It concluded with best practices for data integration and validation, emphasizing the significance of training, documentation, and adherence to regulatory compliance, setting the stage for future advancements in Pharma 4.0 and Manufacturing 4.0.

Data Governance and Validation - an Evolving Landscape VODcast

Dave O'Connor and George Brunner, examined the current state of digitization, emphasizing the need for robust data governance to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance. The event also touched upon the latest guidance in data governance, referencing the Good Practice Guide in development by ISPE. This guide aims to facilitate innovation, efficiency, and cost-saving through concepts like governance across organizations and data democratization. The event concluded with a forward-looking plenary session, discussing potential future changes in the field and the industry’s direction in the next five years.

PDA Annual Dinner Panel- AI and the Future of Pharma

In our recent panel discussion, Kathy and panel members George Goldberger, Jeffrey McGroarty,  delved deep into the vital relationship between data quality and a pharmaceutical company's capability to innovate and deliver effective treatments. Our panelists explored the significant impact of high-quality data on company valuations and its critical role in guiding drug development decisions.

The conversation then transitioned to the transformative changes anticipated in the pharmaceutical sector over the next two decades. Our experts highlighted the rapid pace of innovation, with a particular focus on the emerging fields of Generative AI and Algorithmic Care.

Looking ahead to what has been termed the Algorithmic Era for Pharma, spanning 2030 to 2050, the panel provided insights into expected advancements.  The discussion also covered potential shifts in industry leadership, from traditional big pharma to tech or insurance companies, breakthroughs in aging research, longer life expectancies, and the rise of new trillion-dollar entities in healthcare.
